The opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and motivated Band 4 Registered Nurse Associate to join the vascular surgical team at Bradford Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.

This role will involve working alongside the vascular nursing and medical team which includes other Registered Nurse Associates, to deliver excellent standards of nursing care within vascular surgery.

Applicants do not need previous experience but do need to show an interest in these areas of practice and a commitment to the service in delivering quality compassionate and individual care to patients. As a team of nurses working we would encourage staff to take the opportunity of a rotational post ensuring that within 2 years they are competent to manage patients from admission to discharge and are fully versed in surgical pathways.

There will be opportunities to develop new skills and further career progression, including support with the Registered Nurse top up programme.

To exercise accountability as set out in the NMC Code of Professional Conduct

Work within BTHFT policies, procedures and guidelines to ensure high clinical standards. To contribute to all nursing care ,providing care for patients including those with complex needs.

Working as a member of the nursing team under the direction of a Registered Nurse to provide and monitor care.

You must have a passion for delivering kind and compassionate care and be willing to learn and develop within your role. Recruiting capable and committed staff is essential to maintaining our high standards of quality, safety and patient experience.

An important aspect of the role will be promoting a positive, supportive working environment which value’s and supports staff. Good communication skills are essential and this will need to be demonstrated at interview. Individuals should be flexible and be able to demonstrate they are an excellent role model with the ability to develop positive and professional interpersonal relationships.
