**About us**

Morrells Woodfinishes are a market leading British company originating from 1902 specialising in high performance wood finishes, with a significant European brand profile and reputation as part of RPM International Inc.

We develop, manufacture and distribute a full range of high performance wood finishes as well as offering a bespoke colour-matching service for paints, stains and tinted lacquers.

**Duties Include**:

- Be proactive in improving colour reproduction and colour prediction techniques.
- Ensure all samples are matched, prepared are tested in accordance with the requirements of the sample request and the appropriate test methods and specifications
- Communicate clear information associated with Sample Requests to all internal departments, Branches, RBM’s and customers as the individual situation demands.
- Bring immediately to the attention of the Head of manufacturing (or his Deputy) any batches or formulations which require significant or abnormal additions at the point of testing
- Be proactive in improving colour reproduction and colour prediction techniques.
- Meet the required level of colour vision for the role with use of the Farnsworth Munsell 100 Hue Test.
- Proven ability to work under pressure to strict deadlines in order to meet customer expectations.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: From £23,000.00 per year

- Overtime
