Promotional Spend and Rebate Assistant

As a member of the Promotional Spend and Rebate team, your main role will be to review deductions taken in relation to promotional invoices where there is no documentation provided or a lack of TPM reference and or brand information on invoices to enable the validation and settlement process to be carried out in an efficient and accurate manner.
**Key Responsibilities/Duties**
- Registration and allocation of promotional invoices accurately and timely within the agreed timescales, ensuring they are distributed correctly via the workflow tool.
- Assist the team by using the SAP system to park/register the new invoices and backup, and to assign them to the appropriate owners and resolvers within the agreed timelines.
- Contacting customers for copies of invoices and other documentation to determine their validity to relevant deductions using brand information, and references relating to LTAs and TPMs.
- Maintaining key data from each Division and their teams to allow for accurate distribution.
- Assist validation of promotional invoices when required by various tools and business information and any backup documentation provided.
- Assist with rebate settling as and when required.
- Ad hoc tasks as directed by the Promotional Spend and Rebate Team Leader.

**Experience/Qualifications**
- Five GCSEs or equivalent including Math and English grade C or above.

**Essential Experience**:

- 1+ years of working in a finance admin-based role.
- Excellent track record of working in a fast-moving and complex environment.
- Good communication skills with people at all levels both internally and externally.
- Adaptable and able to work as part of a team.
- Good forward planning and time management skills.
- Ability to work consistently and reliably, sometimes under pressure.
- Accuracy and an eye for detail.

**Desirable Experience**:

- Past experience using SAP.
- Worked in the FMCG sector.
- Proficient in MS Word & Excel.
