**Job Location**: Banbury OX16

**Pay rate**: £11.50 per hour to £15.72 per hour

**Overtime Rate**: Saturday £17.25

**Working Hours**: Monday to Friday

8am to 5pm

**The Responsibilities of a Fabricator/Welder are**:

- Assemble & fabricate materials accurately and within the required timeframe for our customers/construction projects.
- Weld mechanical parts of our materials to a high standard using required tools/equipment.
- As a **Fabricator/Welder** you should ensure health & safety practices /processes are followed at all times.
- General fabrication and welding duties.
- Cut, drill and weld plates onto equipment.
- Read drawings and fabricate projects as per specifications.
- Complete welding duties on less complex projects.

**As a Fabricator/Welder, the key skills required are**:

- Accuracy and good attention to detail.
- Experience in MIG welding
- The **Fabricator/Welder** should able to understand and work from engineering drawings.
- Technical/mechanical skills/aptitude.
- Must be physically strong enough to lift and carry heavy steel structures in and around the workshop and to help driver load materials for delivery.

**About you**:

- Knowledge of the Steel, Construction Industry to enable understanding of client requirements and to question/probe further where required.
- Has worked in construction/fabrication or another similar/related field to a minimum of Level 3.
