Fastnet Group are currently supporting a Telecommunications Contractor based in the UK. Who are fast growing company and they are looking for experienced person to join their team.

They have an excellent opportunity for a **Streetworks Coordinator** to join the team, ideally the person will have experience of opening/closing notices on civils works (utilities) and be experienced in using the Street Manager system.

The working hours for this role will be 08:30am - 5pm Monday to Friday.

**Main Purpose**
- As a Streetworks Coordinator you will be responsible for the submission of Noticing and Permit.
- Requests, monitoring FPNs, Section 74s and defects using online computer systems,
- Coordinating and tracking work activities.
- Working in an office you will be expected to consult with Build Management and on-site supervision.
- You will be responsible for the Opening and Closing of Notices whilst ensuring that all aspects of the Traffic Management Act are met.
- Your role will involve regularly liaising with the client and local authorities.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Ensure all permits are submitted within the correct timescale.
- Ensure all information (including safe digs) is available for the Job Pack.
- Ensure whereabouts report is updated and issued by 9am daily.
- Ensure correct Traffic Management is booked for works.
- Ensure all defects/interim to perm notices are tracked and programmed.
- Create and distribute job packs in line with business and client procedures.
- Work with Planning/Design and Project Managers to manage programmes for teams on site.
- Ensure all starts are sent within the allocated timeline.
- Ensure all permits due to close are chased with Supervision on site and are closed on time,

allowing enough days for an extension to be requested if needed.
- Escalate to your line manager any job that looks like it could over run (sec74), or a charge be

attached if the relevant information is not coming back from site.
- Provide management information for the length of time the gangs are on the streets i.e.

duration tracker/live trackers.
- Investigate/track fines such as FPN, Sec74 and keep the tracker up to date.
- Collate and organise information from site such as measures, photos of site set up etc.
- Maintain the resource & measures tracker, detailing allocated teams and send out to client.
- Register all dimensions once permit has been closed within NRSWA time scale.
- Provide a daily update of all permits due to start or close for the current day and the

following day.
- Maintain a build issues tracker which includes Snags, Defects, Complaints, TM etc.
- Liaise with the Highway Authorities where appropriate.
- Liaise with the Client where appropriate.
- Perform any other duties as reasonably requested.

**Job Related Experience**

Competent user of Microsoft Office Packages

Streetworks Knowledge (Street Manager / Symology)

**Salary: 22,000 - 25,000** per annum depending on experience
