**Role overview**
The LKQ Euro Car Parts Communications Manager will be the behind-the-scenes voice of our business, acting as a brand guardian and making sure our reputation is protected and our key messages are well represented in all communications.
Working as part of the corporate communications team, this role will be predominantly focused around developing and maintaining relationships - with our internal stakeholders, external agencies and our customers through powerful content and campaigns. TheCommunications Manager will have a solid grasp of what makes for amazing content and a great eye for detail to make sure everything we do is befitting of our number one status in the automotive aftermarket.

**Key Responsibilities**:
Working in a collaborative and fast paced department, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Responsibility for updating and maintaining corporate communication materials like our corporate presentation, external video and business bios online (both LKQ Euro Car Parts owned and others)
- Ownership of our key channels - ensuring content is always up to date and as compelling as it can be
- Working collaboratively with our PR and Social Media agency partners to inform content plans and manage business approvals
- Knowing and understanding our brand guidelines inside out; always acting as a brand guardian and ensuring correct usage in all external materials
- Ensuring communications messages are consistent across all channels - working collaboratively with other business functions (e.g. Marketing and People) to make sure content is engaging and errorless every time
- Maximising our sponsorship and events activity, working collaboratively with the events team to support with event materials, external content and customer interaction
- Supporting the People team with our employer brand programme of activity, highlighting our business as a great place to work in all appropriate arenas
- Building relationships with our Digital and Retail Marketing teams to help create synergy between our B2B and B2C strategies
- Continually developing exciting new content ideas that are in line with brand guidelines and always delivered in a timely manner
- Working collaboratively with the Design team and external agency contacts to bring creative concepts to life

- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Great creative skills - with the ability to create compelling content independently and brief design partners as required
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong organisational and planning skills with experience in creating communications plans and timelines
- The ability to work on multiple projects at one time, and under pressure and to deadline
- Equal measures of self-motivation and the ability to be a valued team player
- Experience working with creative agencies an advantage
