You will be passionate about demonstrating and leading on good practice for the development of young people with special educational needs and disabilities academically and holistically. You will enjoy working as part of a team and leading with inspiration. You will be well organised and take pride in being a busy professional in a rewarding environment**.**

**You will**:

- Coordinate the daily response of the academy to supporting young people with special educational needs and disabilities.
- Continue to develop the schools graduated response to supporting young people with SEND.
- Maintain positive and robust relationships with young people and parents/carers.
- Continue to strengthen working relationships with professionals who contribute to promoting inclusivity.
- Be responsible for the development of young people with special educational needs and disabilities including their academic and holistic development.
- Have experience of working with SEND students.
- Be able to work with a range of stakeholders, parents/carers, support staff, outreach agencies and other schools to ensure the safety and progress of individual students.
- Be proficient in Microsoft IT programmes
- Have a calm, patient and approachable manner
- Be resilient and enjoy problem solving to the benefit of our young people, parent/carers and staff.
- Role model good practice and ensure the implementation of the SEND code of practice, equality act and appropriate policies.
