Dog Groomer

**Poochies Dog Grooming Salon - Bournemouth**

We have a permanent position available and are looking for a dog groomer to work with us 3-4 days a week with the possibility of being able to further increase the number of days in the future.

You will be paid for overtime plus we provide a paid lunch break with holiday allowance (pro rata based on number of days worked).

You will be responsible for all aspects of dog grooming, delivered to a high standard. Excellent communication skills and customer service will be fully utilised as you will be required to greet customers and their dog on a daily basis.

You will be a team worker who is able to work in a busy environment with our conscientious, friendly, hardworking team and assist in ensuring high standards are kept through cleanliness, safety and good standards of housekeeping.

**Requirements**:

- Must be honest, reliable and punctual.
- Experience of working within a busy grooming environment is preffered but dog grooming experience outside of a salon will be considered.
- Ability to complete a full groom on a good selection of breeds to a high standard and also to owner’s request.
- A grooming related qualification is preffered but not essential.
- You'll be a people person and have a real passion for pets.
