**Mental Health Support Worker **for our Care home that supports 12 adults with different support needs. Our support workers help our adults to live their life as freely and independent as possible whilst recovering from crisis. Some of our Adults have previously been discharged from a hospital setting, and will be on a road to recovery and in the future our step-down services.

**Location: WF3 Carlton - Rothwell Area**

Shift Pattern:
Week 1 - Monday, Tuesday, Saturday

Week 2 - Wednesday, Thursday, Friday

**We are looking for someone who has**:

- Experience in a similar role for at least 6 months
- Willingness to learn.
- You must be currently resident in the UK
- You must have the right to work in the UK.
- Excellent communication skills.
- You must be friendly and well-organised with an excellent work ethic.

**What are your duties as a Support Worker**:
**Responsabilities include**:

- Ensure the highest possible levels of care are maintained by supporting and assisting Residents when required with all aspects of daily living
- Assist Residents in all aspects of their care needs, e.g. physical, emotional and spiritual
- Provide supervision and attention when needed, ensuring Residents retain their comfort and dignity
- Observe care planning needs for Residents and completed daily records as instructed
- Assist in framework of social activities by interacting with Residents and helping them continue with hobbies and activities in the Care Centre
- Report on well-being of Residents
- Clean and maintain equipment used by Residents and Relatives e.g. wheelchairs, hearing aids, spectacles etc

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From £11.44 per hour

Expected hours: 42 per week
