The Role: _

Secondary responsibilities will include support to horizon scanning and to the development of the training modernisation approach to identify opportunities to exploit virtual training and simulation to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of Training in support of its strategic aims.

Responsibilities include:

- Providing 3D models as required, providing the core modelling process, and library.
- Ensure support to relevant sub-contractors through the development and delivery process of supporting projects
- Provide clear and frequent communication to the VR Project Manager when required
- Assist the change team in any VR outline or detailed proposal activities.
- In support of horizon scanning, look for new technology, companies, and solutions in the market
- Any additional tasks to ensure the success of the role and support to the Business Unit.
- Essential Skills: _
- Demonstratable Experience as a 3D Modeller and media developer
- Experienced in 3DS Max, Maya, Vray, Arnold;
- Substance Painter and Designer, Zbrush, Mudbox, Photoshop and Illustrator, Animate and After Effects.
- Experience deploying 3D assets into Unity / Unreal
- Knowledge of other software packages supporting 3D rendering, animation, and texturing.
- Experience/awareness of the MOD procurement process and steps associated with large system/product procurement
- Personal Attributes: _
- Motivated individual, able to maintain drive to complete tasks to achieve targets.
- Effective communication skills, both oral and written with the ability to facilitate meetings.
- Self-starter - able to hit the ground running and lead a team from the outset.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £25,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
