**Hoist UK** are a market leading supplier and manufacturer of lifting and handling equipment to the entertainment and industrial market sectors.

With head office based in Moreton, Wirral, we work with a variety of B2B customers for product sales and projects throughout the whole of the UK and internationally.

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced **Engineering Warehouse Operative **providing engineering assistance to our busy Production team who are based in Moreton, Wirral.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who has a good work ethic and is enthusiastic, conscientious and has a passion and commitment for good customer care, as our dynamic company continues to grow.

As part of this growth we are currently reconfiguring the factory layout to stock equipment from our "Made in the UK" range of equipment, so the successful applicant will play role initially in organising goods inwards, quarantine, stores and dispatch areas to ensure the factory operates as efficiently as possible.

**The role**:

- Receiving and checking of incoming / outgoing goods.
- Checking of incoming goods received and matching to office paperwork.
- Allocating stock to the correct locations within stores.
- Picking engineering components and equipment to allocate to site & manufacturing projects
- Completion of inhouse documentation.
- Driving the forklift loading and unloading
- Driving tasks for deliveries/collections
- Able to read technical drawings to ensure all components are picked correctly.
- Conducting regular audits to ensure accuracy within the warehouse.
- Carrying out tasks required by the management.
- To maintain a high level of housekeeping in line with Company standards
- Maintain relevant business systems to accurately records all aspects of stock management.

**The Person**:

- Experience in similar stores role, ideally in an engineering environment.
- Strong organisational skills.
- The ability to read technical drawings.
- Positive attitude to work.
- Good communication.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Ability to use Microsoft Office products, such as Word, Excel & Outlook
- Ability to use Sage Line 50 for stock control (preferred)

**The particulars**:
The position is full time, working from 08:30 - 17:00, Monday to Friday at our offices in Moreton, (with opportunities for overtime) and will be a permanent role following a probationary period.

**Salary**: £16,000.00-£22,000.00 per year
