A well-established charity is currently recruiting for a **Supported Housing Officer** to join their team on **a part-time, temporary to permanent** basis in **Buckinghamshire**. This role will focus on supporting **homeless persons,**whilst they stay within temporary accommodation.

**Length**:

Temporary to Permanent

**Hours**:

28 hours per week
- Shifts**:7 hours per day, 4 days a week**

**Location**:

**High Wycombe**

**Role responsibilities**:

- Deliver emotional and life skills based support, assisting service users with day-to-day tasks
- Complete support plans and risk assessments with the service users
- Enforce tenancy conditions in line with procedures including low-level anti-social behaviour and rent arrears
- Offer specialist knowledge and insight into rent arrears helping tenants with budgeting
- Carry out regular estate inspections
- Offer advice and assistance to tenants regarding their benefit entitlements
- Provide support and advice to tenants in relation to issues concerning their tenancies
- Manage void properties to ensure the quickest re-let times including carrying out viewings and sign-ups

**Essential requirements**:

- An Enhanced DBS with the Adults and Children’s lists checked from within the last 3 years or willingness to apply
- Knowledge of working with vulnerable young people
- Working knowledge of support plans and risk assessments
