Weekend Process Production Operator

Focused Recruitment are currently seeking a number of production machine operators/process operators to join our clients global manufacturing plant based at Heads of the Valleys Industrial Estate - Rhymney.
These roles are working x3 12 hour shifts 06:00-06:00 (days & nights, on a rotation basis) Friday, Saturday & Sunday, paying £16.44 an hour (plus overtime)
These roles are full time, ongoing working for a global medical/Advanced Wound Care manufacturing company, who offer a fantastic working environment, culture and are very much an employer of choice within the local area.
**Duties**:

- Operate a range of production machinery, ensuring these are running to optimum capacity working to GMP standards.
- Visually and physically check all products to conform to product quality specifications and document where appropriate
- During inspection, detect any product defects which occur on a consecutive basis to be reported to Line Supervision.
- Collect and supply product samples for quality assurance where necessary
- Carry out any cleaning procedures and maintain housekeeping standards, including support and development of 5S activities.
- Maintain GMP standards in all aspects of the role Support the development of Lean Manufacturing within the department.
- Make suggestions for continuous improvement and participate in implementing agreed changes
- Adhere/conform with the required technical and quality specifications in line with the company's ISO 9000 quality systems
- Be able to work as part of a team.
- Previous relevant production/manufacturing experience.
- Familiar with working to GMP and 5s standards and systems
- Knowledge of health and safety in the work place
