**Job Description**:
Make your mark as Cost Controller (People) for Boskalis Subsea Services located in Aberdeen

As Cost Controller (People) you will be responsible for the personnel accounting for both offshore & onshore resources with a particular focus on utilisation, cost and recovery from projects.

**Your responsibilities as a Cost Controller (People) are**:

- Creation of monthly personnel forecasting sheets for management using latest provided vessel & project schedules
- Provision of a detailed reporting narrative to explain deviations versus prior month/budget.
- Monthly analysis & presentation of offshore personnel days worked versus days paid.
- Monthly analysis of onshore days worked and time written to projects.
- Liaise closely with HR in relation to joiners, leavers & all personnel details impacting on the forecast.
- Monitor and report on all other associated costs including training, payroll and administration costs.
- Maintain regular contact with inter-linked Boskalis entities; gathering interpreting & reporting on financial data shared.
- Explain & manage associated balance sheet positions.
- Monthly reconciliation of offshore payroll data to crewing software (Onboard Tracker)
- Input into the review & upkeep of internal charge out personnel rates (white book)
- Gathering, populating & presenting all personnel data for the annual budget process.
- Familiarisation with Onboard Tracker software; running reports; exporting & analysing data.
- Ensure both onshore and offshore personnel costs base is accurately tracked and controlled
- Track recoveries (charge outs) to projects and advise of deviations from plan
- Assist placement student(s) and graduate roles in their duties relating to offshore personnel
- Other ad-hoc tasks as required.

- A relevant accounting qualification
- Confident user of MS Excel
- Good communication and organisation skills
- Ability to work using own initiative and to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team
- Ability to effectively manage own workload and work within deadlines

**Extra information**
- Your team: You will report to the Senior Asset Controller and be part of the wider Finance team.
- Where you will work: Your location will be our office in Aberdeen and you have the option to work from home 2 days per week. Fixed office days are Tuesday and Thursday’s.
- Full - time job: The position of** Cost Controller (People)** is full time, 35 hours per week.
