Carlisle Brake & Friction have an exciting part-time, temporary opportunity for an Inventory Controller at our facility in Pontypool.

Our products are safety critical, so experience of working to strict Safety and Quality standards in a manufacturing and/or inventory environment, with the ability to understand and comply with operating procedures are key. **Hours of Work**:
Part Time role:
16-20hrs a week, 3-4hrs a day/4-5 days a week.
Days regular working pattern - 8am - 12 noon
(or variant(s) of this 9am
- 1pm, 10am - 2pm etc.)

**Location of work**: Pontypool (NP4)

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Manage, control and maintain inventory accuracy through regular cycle counts and reconciliations.
- Coordinate with purchasing and receiving departments to ensure timely and accurate receipt of goods.
- Analyse inventory data to identify trends, discrepancies, and potential issues.
- Carry out investigations and regarding any inventory discrepancies and resolve in a timely manner.
- Ensure the integrity/accuracy of stock management systems.

**Skills/Experience**:

- Excellent numeracy skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Must have a good level of ICT proficiency, ideally previous experience working with an inventory system/ERP system. Microsoft Excel skills advantageous.
- Needs to be able to follow the inventory pathway and highlight, categorise and investigate inventory discrepancies with purchasing team and other stakeholders.
- Previous experience in stocktaking, inventory cycle counting would be advantageous.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Temporary contract
Contract length: 12 months
Part-time hours: 16-20 per week

**Salary**: £11.71-£11.73 per hour
