Acorn is recruiting for Production Operatives to work for a leading company in its sector near Weston Super Mare.

Job role:

- Full training will be given to operate relevant production machinery, which will include setting them up, putting the tools and profiles in place, machine minding and fault finding, controlling and adjusting them to ensure the smooth flow of the products through the manufacturing processes, keeping the working area clean and tidy, and following health and safety procedures.
- You will work within a team, working at warm temperatures in a noisy environment.

Working hours:

- You will be working on a continental shift pattern that is a mixture of day and night shifts of 6am to 6pm and 6pm to 6am between Monday and Friday
- The shift pattern will give you a 4 day weekend 3 weeks of every month
- All breaks are paid and you will receive a 30 minute and 2 shorter 15 minute breaks each day

**Salary**:

- The starting hourly rate will be £12.68 an hour which equates to £26,375 a year
- Overtime Monday to Friday £14.67 per hour
- Weekends £16.55 per hour for the first 8 hours and £22.06 per hour for all additional hours
- You will also receive an attendance bonus of £86 a month if you have a 100% attendance

There is plenty of overtime available so you can easily earn over £30,000 a year with just working one extra shift per month and qualifying for your attendance bonus.
