Hgv1 Tramping Portbury

**Brit European have new tramping vacancies available for an HGV Class One Driver with previous car transporter experience - this is for heavy transporter tramping work based in Portbury.**

The successful applicant must be self-motivated, reliable, flexible and able to communicate with Customers.

The applicant must have a minimum of 1 year’s car transporter experience - in return we offer the latest generation of transporter equipment, full company uniform, excellent salary & bonuses, pension scheme and private healthcare insurance.

**Your Shift Pattern**:

- Monday to Friday 0500-0600 start (flexible with driver)
- This is a tramping role and involves 4 nights away from home per week
- This is an ongoing agency or permanent position

**Your Pay PAYE**:

- Agency rate equivalent to £16.38ph* PAYE based on a 10hr day (breakdown below)
- First 8hrs - £13.45
- After 8hrs - £15.13
- £5 per day meal allowance
- £20 per day shift bonus
- Plus £26.20 per night out
- Permanent Salary available upon request

**Your job**:

- Transporting commercial vehicles and plant machinery throughout the UK.
- Product loading and restraint.
- Completion of inspection and delivery documentation.
- 1-2 Drops

**What we need from you**:

- HGV Class One Licence - 2 Years’ Experience Required
- Car transporter experience - 1 Year Experience Required
- In Date CPC & Digi Tacho
- No more than 6 points, no IN, DD or DR penalty codes.
- A good level of physical fitness. The job is exerting and involves working at height.
