Leisure Assistant

**Job Summary**:
**Please note this post is temporary to cover maternity leave for six months or until the current post holder returns.**

East Dunbartonshire Leisure & Culture Trust was formed to deliver Leisure and Cultural services on behalf of East Dunbartonshire Council. East Dunbartonshire is home to three popular leisure centres - the Leisuredrome in Bishopbriggs, the Allander Leisure Centre in Bearsden and Kirkintilloch Leisure Centre.

Due to further expansion and development of these leisure services, we are looking to recruit the following positions to complement our existing staffing across East Dunbartonshire Leisure & Culture Trust.

**Play Area Assistant (£22011.94 - £24288.38)**
Full-time, Maternity cover at The Leisuredrome

Responsible for the safety and well being of children using Charlie’s Big Adventure soft play area, including the supervision and co-ordination of all aspects of children’s Birthday Parties.

**PVG / Disclosure Scotland**:
The following criteria applies to all roles within East Dunbartonshire Council where PVG/Disclosure checks are essential criteria

In specific circumstances the payment could be deducted in instalments from an employee’s wages following commencement of employment. Approval in such circumstances will be made by HR Services Lead.

Should an employee leave in advance of the payment being deducted, the full amount will be deducted from the employee’s final salary.
