CODEL International Ltd are specialists in the design and manufacture of high-technology instrumentation for continuous stack emission monitoring, road tunnel atmosphere sensing, and plant safety equipment. Our state of the art analyzers are supplied to a wide range of industries worldwide including power generation, combustion processes, road tunnels and process control equipment. We have a team of approximately 50 trained and dedicated employees. We are looking to add to that team by recruiting a Store Keeper

The Store Keeper will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the main production warehouse, making sure it runs smoothly and effectively.

**Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities**
- Take delivery of goods and supplies
- Check for damaged or missing items
- Maintain organized quarantine area for goods from suppliers with quality issues
- Locate and store goods appropriately within the warehouse
- Pick production orders according to the Production Schedule
- Notify Purchasing of stock shortages
- Pick off-the-shelf items for orders according to the Production Schedule
- Move stock around either by hand, using lifting equipment or a forklift truck (desirable)
- Input data regarding stock and inventory into a computerized system
- Keep accurate stock records
- Carry out stock counts as and when required
- Operate in a safe manner complying with all health, safety and environmental requirements to ensure own and safety of others
- Handle any hazardous materials in an appropriate manner
- Keep areas of work clean and tidy to ensure operational efficiency
- Make recommendations to aid efficiency and add value
- Creates and maintains excellent working relationships with all areas of the business
- Liaise with customers, suppliers and transport companies as and when required in a timely way
- Support, comply and ensure complicity with Health & Safety regulations, the Company Handbook, Quality and Environmental standards, and all other Company policies and procedures
- Engages interest and participation of others and has a collaborative approach to working together
- Ensures the QA documentation covering Stores is kept up to date with the latest procedures
- Engaged and motivated to learn about CODEL products to better carry out role

**Knowledge, Skills & Abilities**
- Ability to work accurately and methodically
- Good numeracy and IT skills
- Good communication skills
- Ability to plan and organise work with excellent attention to detail
- Ability to accurately complete paperwork and count stock items
- An understanding of health and safety requirements
- Flexible approach to duties and tasks
- An ability to & willingness to undertake training to secure forklift license
- Good understanding of customer deliverables and the impact of failure / cost of poor quality
- A basic working knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Be able to demonstrate possession of the Company Values

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £23,000.00 per year
