Our client is one the world’s largest OEM manufacturers with several sites worldwide including a large production facility in the North East. Due to retirement, they have a rare opportunity for a Multi Skilled Maintenance Technician to join their established team on a permanent basis.

This would be a fantastic opportunity for someone to utilise their extensive experience in Maintenance within an established and skilled team.

**About the Maintenance Technician Role**

This position will offer the Multi Skilled Maintenance Technician an opportunity to support the whole team in performing reactive and planned maintenance on a wide range of manufacturing equipment

Duties will include:

- Working with equipment such as Robot’s, CNC’s, OHC’s and the Paint Plant
- Attending breakdowns and reporting the cause and possible improvements
- Completing planned maintenance following the PPM schedule
- Supporting the introduction of new equipment and installations
- Ensuring all work is undertaken to a high-quality standard and adheres to all relevant regulations and Health and Safety standards

**About You**

You will be a highly experienced Maintenance Technician with knowledge of electrical and mechanical equipment ideally gained within a manufacturing environment.

Other requirements include:

- Expertise in CNC, tool fitting and/or overhead cranes would be highly advantageous
- A minimum qualification of a suitable ONC, BTEC or NVQ Level 3 in Maintenance or Engineering is required.
- 17th/18th edition would be beneficial however not essential
- Good communication and ICT skills are essential
