The Inspired Stories is offering an exciting opportunity for the right person to join our growing company as a Packaging and Studio assistant.

We are a small stationery and lifestyle brand that focuses on creating practical and easy-to-use lifestyle products that help people become more aware, empowered and motivated. Our main products include yearly and undated planners, journals, albums, organisers and other stationery products. We are a female-founded and operated brand.

An opportunity has arisen for the right person to join our warehouse/studio in Haywards Heath, RH17 5PB to assist with our online order processing and packaging, warehouse organisation and other fulfilment requirements.

We are looking for someone who is hands-on, reliable and able to work with initiative. As part of a small team, you will be responsible for day to day operational needs, such as pick & pack orders, preparing orders for dispatch, personalising planners, journals and accesories using our hot foil stamping machine and organising the studio to ensure efficient running of the fulfilment process.

- Must drive and have access to a vehicle due to no close public transport links to the warehouse

**Responsibilities**:

- Pick and pack online orders and complete them on time.
- Personalise orders using hot foil stamping machine (training provided).
- Ensuring that parcels are labelled and processed correctly using our order management system (training provided).
- Make sure each product is put in the appropriate packaging.
- Receive and unload incoming stock shipments.
- Lifting and manual handling of stock.
- Quality checking goods, putting them away and correctly organising.
- Maintaining a tidy and efficient warehouse, including weekly stock checks.
- Re-stacking the shelves with products.
- Coordinate and prioritise work with other members of the team.
- Take initiative and be in charge of an efficient running of the order fulfilment.

**Work hours**:
30 hour-week, Monday to Friday, 11am - 5pm with a potential of going to full time role 9am - 5pm from September 2024.
