**Mechanical Chargehand - Mechanical Fitter**

**Role**: Mechanical Chargehand - Mechanical Fitter

Cross-skilled to welding, working within the Operations function.

**Monday to Friday - Day shifts**

**Job Summary**

The role is mainly site based, working on the process plants. This is a 75% hands on work type of role, being responsible for allocating short-term planning work, dealing with materials and external contractors and general infrastructure works. Dealing withthe day to day needs as the interface between the higher level and the workforce.

**Requirements**:

- Have experience with carrying out maintenance to mechanical process equipment in a similar industrial environment
- Must have a mechanical engineering apprenticeship or equivalent experience
- Have first line supervisory experience
- MMA Welding certification/qualification ideally, however training will be given.
- Electrical cross-skill competency ideally but not essential
- Good IT skills & familiar in the use of CMMS systems
- Be flexible to work in different areas as required and have the ability to work to demanding and changing priorities
- Have a full and clean driving licence
