Recruit Insure are looking for an Account Handler for a leading independent global insurance service provider.

Our client currently has an exciting opportunity for an Account Handler to join their Real Estate Team. The role is based in Chelmsford and is an office-based role.

Reporting to the Account Manager for Real Estate, you will be responsible for handling a portfolio of property & liability claims for both the UK and Europe, from investigation to settlement, ensuring company standards are met in relation to all technical and operational policies and procedures, including data protection and information security.

Our client has a focus on complex, commercial and specialty markets, they provide loss adjusting, claims and risk management services, as well as auditing and pre-risk surveying. Their global footprint enables it to provide streamlined consistent service to clients across the world, while at the same time delivering local expertise and responsive service. Their expert adjusters have an average of over 25 years’ experience, operating across a range of industries with specialties including: Agriculture, Aviation, Casualty, Crisis Management, Construction & Engineering, Entertainment & Contingency, Environmental consulting, Forensic Engineering, Forensic Fire Investigation, Global TPA Services, Investigation, Marine, Natural Resources, and Property services.

Real Estate Account Handler Job Role
- Investigating, negotiating and agreeing settlement of claims in a professional manner
- Liaising with insured, insurers/brokers to achieve professional and timely conclusion of claims
- Liaising with stakeholders overseas
- Producing reports in compliance with professional standards and internal guidelines in accordance with agreed timescales
- Ensuring time reporting and billing is compliant with internal standards, processing and systems
- Ensuring invoices raised are accurate and timely
- Liaising closely with other Adjusters where appropriate
- Attend client review meetings

Real Estate Account Handler Skills Required
- They will have proven capability in negotiation, decision making, and problem-solving skills, coupled with strong stakeholder management.
- An ability to develop strong relationships both internally and externally is imperative.

Real Estate Account Handler Perks and Benefits

- Hours are Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm.
