**Brokerage Administrator**

We are delighted to be working with our client in the health care sector who are looking for a Brokerage administrator to join their busy team.
**About the role**
The post holder will be required to work on their own initiative and demonstrate a willingness to help others and be a key member of the team, with responsibility for specifically allocated tasks. You will be expected to follow set processes, prioritise yourworkload and demonstrate initiative to fulfil the requirements of the post. To support the brokerage of care for those CHC patients who have been deemed eligible individuals, following guidance on clinical needs, and in doing so deliver appropriately commissionedcare placements and packages of care. Engage compassionately and professionally with service users, families and representatives when identifying care packages and placements. Deal with invoice queries in an efficient and timely manner, as required. Ensurethat all complaints, comments, and suggestions are dealt with appropriately, in accordance with policy, resolving where possible and escalating to line manager when appropriate and acting as first line of support to the team. Act as a point of contact forthe brokerage department, dealing with routine and specialist brokerage enquiries in a pleasant and helpful manner, communicating relevant information to acute discharge teams and CHC Providers.
**About you**
You will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills are essential, plus an ability to deal with sensitive and confidential phone calls. You will be required to be proficient in word processing and inputting into databases, in addition to diary management.Significant administrative/ secretarial experience including initiating and maintaining office systems. You will have experience in dealing with the public and dealing with sensitive and confidential information. Intermediate knowledge of IT systems and softwareprogrammes such as Outlook, Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Access. Understanding of confidentiality and Data Protection Act. You will have the ability to work under pressure in a busy working environment and able to multitask and have effective team working andminute taking skills.
