We are looking for an experienced cook to join our team for the summer, ideally you’ll know your way round a kitchen and be adept at working well with a team in a high pressured environment. We’re looking for someone with experience and qualities in the following:

- Baking - we bake all our own cakes, we have recipes and training will be given, but we’re looking for someone who has a great feel for baking and will be able to crack on without too much supervision
- Pizza making - we’ll be running our successful pizza nights again this year and need someone to be able to top and cook the pizzas - this will be busy and high pressured, but you’ll have great experience in staying calm in an intense environment and working efficiently
- Great attention to detail - we may be a small beach café but we like things done right You’ll be willing to follow guidance and create great looking bakes
- Cleanliness - you’ll need to be a tidy worker and committed to the high levels of cleanliness we keep the café to. You may be responsible for the clean down at the end of the night
- Good communicator and team player - like any kitchen our café runs on a great team and communication is the key. We need someone who will get along with the rest of the team to contribute to the café being a positive place to work

Your working hours will be one of two shift patterns - either early morning starts to get the baking and prep for the day done, or later starts to run the pizza nights. Or both if you are open to split shifts. We can offer over 40 hours per week until early September, potentially with some work over the Autumn/Winter. Hourly pay will be up to £13 depending on experience. Evening and weekend work required.

**Job Type**: Temporary contract
Contract length: 3.5 months

Pay: Up to £13.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 40 per week
