**About the role**

You’ll be part of our busy Finance team and support our Assistance Finance Manager
- You’ll manage a range of suppliers to make sure invoices are accurately processed to the ledger in a timely manner
- Using our purchase order system and financial accounts package, you’ll match purchase orders to invoices, assist with supplier payment runs and match all payments through the bank to the accounts system
- As well as managing the petty cash function, you’ll also be responsible for cash banking.
- You’ll assist with stock control and monthly stock takes
- You’ll count, check and reconcile department pay ins and investigate any discrepancies.
- Using our third party extranet sites, you’ll redeem all gift vouchers
- With the Assistance Finance Manager, you’ll carry out our month end reporting procedures and prepare required reports
- Consistently meet the department’s standards and deadlines

- Accounts and financial systems experience - you’ll be a bit of an all-rounder
- Organised with keen attention to detail - and a great communicator
- Team focus - there are no egos here, just hard-working people who love creating memorable experiences for every guest
- Ideas and openness - we’re up for doing things differently and will try (almost) everything once
- Fun and easy to talk to - we’re looking for personality, not a corporate clone
- Flexibility - there’s no problem you can’t fix
- Regularly check your company communications on Flow, completing online training modules and reviews to set company deadlines

**Peebles Hydro**:
Another Hydro, but it’s not like Crieff. Peebles Hydro has 132 bedrooms and like many of her rooms, is firmly focused on the outdoors and making the most of what’s on the doorstep. Kids activities might send them back a little muddy but they’ll love meeting our bees, hens and chickens and can even learn to build a proper woodland den. Hire bikes from us and take in a gentle cycle or race down the trails at Glentress. Opt for a potter along the High Street and getting familiar with locally produced food and drink.
