We are seeking experienced and compassionate residential support workers to join our team.

**Could this be you?**

To be a Residential Support Worker at Ruby’s, you will have experience and be able to demonstrate skills in working with young people. Whilst the role has its challenges, the results you will see from the children you work with are unequaled.

**The role**:

- Safeguarding young people and protecting from harm
- Promotion of young people’s welfare
- Reading risk assessments and updating them
- Reporting any concerns in relation to child protection
- Visitor checks
- Dealing with significant incidents
- Ensuring all documents and reports are completed
- Encouragement and development of life skills to promote independence
- Attending relevant meetings with professionals
- Providing a positive, welcoming and stimulating environment for young people.Performing other ad hoc duties as require

**Job Requirements**
- Ideally, we would like you to have some form of qualifications towards working with young people

- Extensive knowledge in working with young people holistically which should be demonstrated on you CV.
- A good knowledge of the various services available and accessible for young people
