**Previous camera experience is not required for this role and all equipment is provided, however, the following skills/interests are desirable**

Ability to listen and learn effectively during provided training and when ongoing with the job.

An interest in live sports such as football to understand critical moments of live matches.

Communication skills: You must be able to communicate effectively with the director and other crew members to ensure that you are capturing the shots that are needed for the product

Problem-solving skills: You must be able to think on your feet and quickly solve any technical issues that may arise during the event.

Ability to work under pressure: You must be able to work under pressure such as when a critical moment in the game is happening.

Teamwork skills: You must be able to work effectively as part of a larger production crew and be able to take direction and collaborate with others to ensure that the event is captured effectively.

**Responsibilities**:
Operating camera equipment: You are responsible for ensuring the equipment functions correctly during the event.

Capturing footage: You are responsible for capturing footage of the event, including close-ups, wide shots and shots of the crowd.

Following the action: You must stay focused on the action and be prepared to quickly adjust your camera angles and settings as needed to capture the best shots.

Communicating with the director: You will be working closely with the director, who will be providing instructions on what shots are needed, so you must be able to communicate effectively with the director and other crew members.

Maintaining safety: You must ensure that your camera equipment is safe and that you are not putting yourself or others in harm's way while operating the equipment.

Working as part of a team: As part of a larger production crew, you must be able to work collaboratively with other crew members to ensure that the event is captured effectively.

**Job Type**: Freelance

**Salary**: £11.00-£15.00 per hour
