Our client a well-recognised professional membership body is currently recruiting for a Facilities Manager.
**The Role**
To manage facilities at the membership body's head office (which will be your primary location). Also, provide FM /H&S support, cover, and services to other Group locations as defined by the Group Facilities Manager. Ensure all locations are fit for purposei.e., no office to be unavailable due to failure of FM or building systems.
**Person Specification**
The person is to be Facilities Manager at membership body. The individual will also provide operational support for managing Internal Health and Safety. The person should possess the necessary knowledge and skills to perform their role effectively. The personwith experience of implementing facilities measures, including H&S. They should be willing to develop themselves in both roles and keep up to date with Facilities Management best practices. They should have a basic knowledge of accounting and finance principlesand excellent planning and organisational skills. Confident and calm when dealing with colleagues and contractors and be willing to travel to other Group locations and work unsocial hours.
Min of 2 to 3 Years in a similar facilities coordinator or manager role
Good general education
NEBOSH or similar H&S qualification desirable
**UK driving licence Computer skills including Microsoft office Willingness to develop** Flexible attitude towards work and unsocial hours including weekends Able to work unsupervised and applies good time management Confident when dealing with contractors and colleagues
To be a 'Team player' and give support when required
Ability to perform manual handling duties
