Duckegg Theatre Acting School Limited are on the look out for an experienced Musical Theatre Mentor to take on the weekly mentoring of a Senior (age 11+) Youth Theatre group. Due to changes in the current mentor's availability we are looking for a fairly immediate start date for this group however, there may be the opportunity to build up your weekly hours in the future. The current hours are:
The group are working towards our end of year showcase at a Leeds theatre in July and the current mentor will handover group's current project to the new mentor. Subsequent projects will be in the control of the new mentor. As we are nearing our performance date experience in Youth Theatre directing is required as is the ability to bring your own creative flare to the group's current work.

A bit about Duckegg Theatre:
With small class sizes, we are a family of freelancers working ALONGSIDE young people to develop their skills and make amazing new theatre work, giving full ownership of work to it's creators. Our class bases stretch across Yorkshire and North Lincolnshire, our aim is to build a team of freelance Creative Mentors who support one another and have a passion for sharing creativity with the next generation. You will be supported in your role by our Company Director who looks after the day to day running of the school.

Positivity is a must, as is reliability - now more than ever, our kids need creative mentors who they build relationships with and rely on.

Weekly groups run through 42 weeks of the year. Breaking for 2 weeks at Christmas, 2 weeks at Easter and 6 weeks over Summer.
