**Job Overview**:We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Food Production Assistant to join our dynamic team at the Bedford Site. As a Food Production Assistant, you will play a crucial role in our fast-paced and fun environment, contributing to the creation of our high-quality hand-crafted sauces. This role involves assisting in various stages of the production process, ensuring the quality and consistency of our products.

**Responsibilities**:

- Collaborate with the production team to prepare and assemble ingredients for sauce production.
- Follow recipes and production guidelines to ensure accurate and consistent sauce production.
- Operate and maintain production equipment under the guidance of senior team members.
- Assist in measuring, mixing, cooking, and packaging sauces according to established standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, following sanitation and safety protocols.
- Participate in quality control checks to ensure products meet our high standards.
- Support the labelling, packaging, and sealing of finished products.
- Help with inventory management, including monitoring ingredient levels and reporting shortages.
- Contribute to maintaining production records and documentation accurately.
- Assist in the loading and unloading of raw materials and finished products.
- Adhere to company policies, procedures, and health and safety regulations.

**Qualifications**:

- Previous experience in a food production or manufacturing environment is preferred but not required.
- Basic understanding of food safety and hygiene practices.
- Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate records.
- Physical stamina to stand, lift, and perform repetitive tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility to work in shifts and adapt to changing production needs.
- Positive attitude, reliability, and a strong work ethic.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively.
