**You will be required to travel around the County to meet business needs with this role.**

We are looking for people **who want to make a difference** working alongside the Police in custody suites, caring for detainees - From supporting them during the time spent in custody, completing forensic samples, working with other agencies to support and help with detainees rehabilitation.

Previous experience working within the police/security/armed forces would be beneficial. but we'll train you in full on an Initial Training Course even without previous experience.

**A little more about the role**

The custody suites can be an energetic place to work, with no two shifts the same. Whilst detained, we provide individuals with all their physical, mental healthcare and wellbeing needs. As well has escorting detainees, making recorded observations as per their individual plan, you'll work with colleagues and the Police to deal with any detainee that is a risk of harming themselves.

**Wages and Benefits**
- Salary of £25,709 on a 4-shift _on_ (2 days, 2 nights) then 4-shift _off_ pattern, scheduled for 2 years ahead so you can plan your life. (Averages 42 hours per week).

You'll be working in a small team alongside Police Officers: whilst also having the support of experienced Senior Custody Detention Officers to learn from.

**What are the minimum requirements?**
- Previous Police/Security/forces experience would be beneficial
- You'll just need a reasonable level of spoken and written English and basic numeracy
- Full valid driving licence.
- Lived in the UK for a minimum of 3 years.
- Have valid British passport/ settled status.
