We are currently seeking a talented and enthusiastic SEND Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join our dynamic team. This is a fantastic chance to work in a supportive environment where you can utilise your skills and expertise to support children with a range of SEND requirements.

Position Overview: Seeking a dedicated and passionate HLTA to join a Primary Special School starting immediately. This position is ending in July 2025 but there is a possibility of being offered a permanent contract in December 2024.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide support to students with SEND in both individual and group settings.
- Assist the class teacher in planning and delivering tailored lessons to meet the diverse needs of learners.
- Implement and monitor individual education plans (IEPs) and behavior plans.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment where all students feel valued and supported.
- Collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure the best outcomes for students.

Requirements:

- Previous experience working with children with SEND, preferably in a school setting.
- HLTA qualification or equivalent experience.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting children with diverse needs.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
