Company:
Due to continuing business growth and development, potato grower and processor, Fylde Fresh and Fabulous Ltd is seeking an enthusiastic and driven individual to join our team and support our continued success in supplying great quality potato products to our customers.

Role:
You will be responsible for ensuring product quality & safety standards are maintained at all times and that the product that is manufactured meets the customer’s specification and is legally compliant in all aspects.

Duties will include:

- Working to BRC standards
- To monitor Critical control points to comply with the companies HACCP standards
- To monitor the accuracy of packaging labels to ensure legal compliance.
- To undertake checks as required by the procedure manual to ensure compliance with company and customer specifications.
- To complete all documentation relating to food safety checks required and ensure that all finished product is manufactured within the agreed parameters.
- To continually monitor production and highlight any issues or non
- conformances to the shift supervisors in a timely manner to eliminate or reduce the amount of non-conforming product manufactured.
- To monitor and report the storage temperature of all products to ensure the products do not go out of specification which would cause a food safety issue.
- Raw material checks when requires.
- Any other duties as reasonably required by the business.

**Skills**:

- You must have good written and verbal English
- Prior experience would be helpful but not necessary as training and mentoring will be provided.
- The successful applicant will be someone who can show the enthusiasm and initiative necessary to progress in this role.
- Requires an understanding of Food Quality principles and concepts
- Knowledge of HACCP principles
- Level 1/Level 2 Food Safety

This role is based near Kirkham in Lancashire so having your own transport is an advantage due to the location of the business.
