There is an exciting opportunity for a Band 5 Cardiac Physiologist to join the Cardiac Physiology team at Northumbria Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust.

We have a friendly, dynamic inter professional cardiology team consisting of, Cardiology specialist Nurses, Clinical Physiologists and 11 Consultant Cardiologists who offer a wide range of invasive and non-invasive services across the cardiology field to the Northumberland, Tyne and Wear area.

The department currently offers physiologist led exercise testing, ambulatory monitoring services and a well-established device's service including implantation and follow up of specialist devices such as ICD's and CRT's.

We also have an extensive echocardiography service offering Transthoracic Echocardiography, Transoesophageal echocardiography, stress echocardiography, exercise echocardiography and contrast studies.

We are a forward thinking department and encourage development of staff including training towards national accreditation.
