Our capability in this area means we are able to perform plating and electroplating operations with copper, gold, nickel, zinc and silver to coat and protect compents for our aerospace and defence clients from here in our Glasgow HQ.

This team....
- Prepare components for plating/painting
- Perform precision Gold, Silver, Nickle, Zinc (and any other) plating as per customer specifications
- Carry out inspection of all components worked on, measuring plating gloss/thickness, etc.
- Perform all type re-works in relation to plating finish
- Organise and manage tooling as needed to perform jobs
- Operate automatic plating lines
- Support other functions when required eg Masking team

We are looking to grow this team and will provide training for individuals to learn the valuable skills required however you must be able to demonstrate the following 'softer skills'...
- Work accurately and methodially, with strong attention to detail.
- Contribute as part of a strong team according to strict H&S requirements
- Complete paperwork and updates systems on each shift
- Work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- have good eyesight and manual dexterity

Any experience of understanding and reading engineering drawings or previous plating experience would be beneficial but is not essential as all training will be provided.
