We are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Administrator to join our team. As an Accounts Payable Administrator, you will be responsible for coding and assisting with all accounts payable transactions. This is a crucial role within our organization, ensuring that all invoices are accurately recorded and payments are made in a timely manner. If you have a strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills, we would love to hear from you.

This job role is for 22.5 hours per week which can be done in 3 full days or 4.5 hours over 5 days.

- Coding and reviewing large volumes of purchase invoices
- Liaising with suppliers and the wider team within Excursions Limited to resolve any queries arising on a timely and efficient basis
- Completing Supplier bank verifications for change of bank details
- Ensuring compliance with accounting standards and VAT legislation
- Following all Excursions Limited Policies and Procedures
- Accurate recording of all accounting information
- Providing ad hoc assistance to the Finance Manager and Finance Director

**Requirements**:

- Minimum 5 GCSE’s (or equivalent) including Maths and English
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Previous accounts experience advantage but not essential
- IT literate and able to demonstrate a good knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
- Sage system knowledge would be an advantage but not essential

**Job Types**: Part-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 6 months

**Salary**: £11,400.00-£13,800.00 per year

Expected hours: 22.5 per week
