St Andrews nursing home is looking for a kitchen assistant to join our team. _**This is a split shift working from 1030-1400 1630-1930**_. Main duties will include but are not limited to
- Washing, peeling and preparing food ingredients
- Using equipment such as mixers, special knives and cutters
- Reviewing kitchen inventory and determining what items are needed
- Unloading fresh supplies and organising the stockroom
- Checking sell-by dates and rotating food stock
- Cleaning kitchen appliances, ovens, dishes and pans
- Observing cooking times and correct temperatures
- Washing dishes and preparing trolley for mealtimes
**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 21 per week
**Salary**: £10.42 per year
