Construction Material Controller

We have an exciting opportunity for you to join us as a Construction Material Controller at Hinkley Point C.
As a Construction Material Controller, you will focus on both upstream procurement data and offsite warehouse inventory to enable the expediting of specific construction material from offsite to onsite. You will provide detailed forecasts and data related to material movement and work as an integrated part of the construction team. You will play a key role in calling off specific construction material to site on a just in time basis. You will be comfortable with gathering data from various sources in order to generate reports, provide recommendations and identifying short and long term material requirements.

**What we need from you**:
- Knowledge of Construction M&E disciplines and related material.
- Experience of construction procurement or warehouse asset management.
- Excellent IT, Written, Verbal & Numeracy Skills.
- Excellent in the use of MS Excel and Power Point.
- Diligent and precise.
- Good team skills and collaborative qualities.
- Self-motivated with the ability to research and produce information.
- Ability to interact comfortably with blue and white collar workforce.
**Desirable Skills**:
- Experience of Nuclear or Power Station Construction specifically M&E disciplines.
- Material Controller or Warehouse Management experience.
- Familiar with construction team organisations.
- Project Controls experience.
- CITB MAP H&S test (must be obtained before start date)
**Site Specific Information**
- You must be able to provide a 3-year work/ unemployment/ education history required for vetting process in line with HPC protocols.
- You must be able to obtain the HPC pass.
- The site is located remotely and a bus journey of 45 minutes each way is required to gain access.

**Salary**: £35,000.00-£42,000.00 per year
