**Job Overview**:
**Responsibilities**:

- Operate industrial overlock and cover stitch machines proficiently to stitch, bind, and finish edges of garments.
- Ensure the quality and consistency of finished products meet established standards and specifications.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of machines to ensure smooth operation and prevent downtime.
- Uphold strict adherence to safety protocols and best practices in the handling of materials and equipment.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment to optimize productivity and efficiency.

**Requirements**:

- Proficiency in operating industrial overlock and cover stitch machines is preferrable.
- Strong attention to detail and a keen eye for quality craftsmanship.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate within a team environment.
- Access to industrial overlock and cover stitch machines for remote work (if applicable).
- Flexibility to adapt to changing production requirements and schedules.

**Preferred Qualifications**:
1. Formal training or certification in sewing, pattern making, or related fields is a plus.

2. Experience working with a variety of fabrics, experience working with lycra is a plus.

3. Knowledge of garment construction techniques and industry trends.

4. Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and perform minor repairs on sewing machines.

**Salary**: From £11.44 per hour

Expected hours: 10 - 30 per week
