Night Porter

Armathwaite Hall Hotel and Spa are looking for a Night Porter to work 2 nights a week, Monday and Tuesday. As our Night Porter you will ensure the safety of the hotel and our guests, carry out cleaning of all public areas while assisting guests with drinks whenever needed. Full training would be provided.
Duties of a Night Porter:
- Perform general cleaning tasks to ensure the cleanliness and tidiness of the facility
- Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, including replenishing supplies
- Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste properly
- Clean windows, mirrors, and other glass surfaces
- Dust furniture, fixtures, and equipment
- Assist with setting up rooms for meetings or events as needed
Armathwaite Hall Hotel and Spa is a 42-bedroom hotel situated in the most beautiful part of the Lake District. It is recognised for the warmth of welcome, unrivalled personal attention and the excellent service the team provide.
We are looking for a Night Porter who is passionate about delivering outstanding hospitality to our guests. You would need to have previous bar experience, be used to working nights and have a professional and approachable manner with the ability to establish rapport with our guests.
