**Responsibilities**:
- Following machine set up, operate machines to ensure manufacturing procedures are carried out.- Operate machines efficiently and in a safe manner, adhering to Health and Safety guidelines.- Work from layouts and dimensions on drawings to perform assigned tasks.- Follow production instructions of supervisors to ensure quality.- Follow standard operating procedures accurately.- Ensure conformance of first off is correct prior to run of subsequent components.- Run off and ensure conformance of subsequent components as detailed on shop documentation.- Ensure that required information is completed and updated using relevant job cards in circulation.- Ensure that machines are operated in a manner that maximizes the production hours.- Report issues to the relevant person in a timely manner.- Check components dimensionally to ensure compliance to specific operation.- Actively participate in any relevant meetings as required- Actively participate in improvement activity and forward suggestions for improvements.- Promote and sustain best practice in Health and Safety and Workplace Organization.- Safely and willingly undertake any task that is deemed necessary to ensure objectives are met.- Keep work area clean and tidy ensuring a clean and safe working environment.- Ensure that quality standards are met by identifying any items produced that fail to meet quality standards.- Perform other duties and/or projects as assigned.

Educational Requirements / Field of Experience- Previous experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.- Have a strong work ethic.- Excellent attention to detail and focus on quality.- Good communication skills & ability to work as part of a team.- Works effectively with other associates, promoting a team environment.
