Assistant Stylist

This role will include helping Stylists and Colour Technicians with their services such as mixing colour and shampooing. The role also includes keeping the salon looking presentable at all times, whilst meeting and greeting clients and making them drinks. If you're looking to learn to become a Stylist and/or Colour Technician yourself, you will be offered training days/nights at our salon with our highly talented team, which will lead to more experience within the hair industry and working towards becoming a Stylist and/or Colour Technician. This role is crucial to our salon, it is the very inner-workings of the business. An assistant stylist keeps everything running smoothly, resulting in clients returning, leaving great reviews and also leaving tips for you and the team.

**Responsibilities**

Meeting clients and taking them through the salon. Offering drinks and making them if needed.

Sweeping hair from the floor around workstations.

Shampooing for Stylists and Colour Technicians.

Sorting towels and gowns through a washing machine and tumble dryer.

General keeping the salon looking presentable, clean and tidy.

**Qualifications**

Excellent verbal communication skills.

A willingness to learn and passion for hair.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Apprenticeship

**Salary**: £10,982.40-£15,579.20 per year
