Our client in Ellesmere Port is recruiting shovel drivers ASAP due to operational growth.

NVQ in Waste Management or equivalent is desirable but not essential as full training will be given

Initial shift pattern will be Monday-Friday whilst you familiarise yourself before moving over to the alternate 4 on 4 off shift pattern

**Main Duties**:
Operating shovel whilst loading and unloading materials in the yard
Ensuring that the standard of the yard is maintained and kept clean and tidy
Handling the product with care to ensure minimum damage at all times
Carry out pre-use checks on shovel and report any damage/faults to the manager
Grease shovel as per maintenance schedule
Direct raw material lorries to the correct bay and inform QC
Adhering to all Health and Safety compliance policies and procedures in place

Previous experience operating a loading shovel
Previous experience in a similar role within a fast-paced manufacturing environment
Good level of understanding and spoken English
Ability to take direction and follow instruction

Key Information and Benefits

**Job Type**: Temp to perm - Full time

£15.69 a hour
