**ROLE**: Corporate & Commercial Paralegal

**SALARY**: £25,000 - £28,000

**LOCATION**:Stratford

Our client is a successful law firm with a strong presence in East London. Established more than 65 years ago, they have an enviable reputation across the area and provide a wide range of legal services to business and individual clients. With a practicaland commercial approach, they endeavour to exceed clients’ expectations across the full spectrum of their expertise. There is also a scope to offer a Training Contract.

**YOUR DUTIES WILL INCLUDE**
- Support senior members of the corporate commercial team on a wide variety of more complex cases
- Build and maintain strong relationships with both new and returning clients based on trust, confidence, and reliability
- Assisting the lawyers in the department with the management/review of disclosure and due diligence documentation
- Organising virtual data rooms and disclosure bundles
- Preparing and negotiating ancillary documentation such as company board minutes etc.
- Preparing and filing a variety of Companies House documents
- Being responsible for assisting with the preparation of a range of commercial contracts such as non-disclosure/confidentiality agreements, heads of terms, terms and conditions, shareholders’ agreement, and joint venture agreements
- Having direct contact with clients and other parties’ solicitors in transactional matters
- Assisting with the preparation and negotiation of a range of commercial contracts
- General file management and administrative duties

**ABOUT YOU**:

- Ability to effectively manage high volume workloads.
- Law degree or equivalent qualification essential, LPC Required (Completed/in progress).
- At least 6 months Corporate experience as a Paralegal.
- Strong academics.
- Works well to tight deadlines and managing own workload
- confident, professional and shows excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Has a keen eye for details
- Strives for high standards in their work
- A vision to progress within the firm
- A developing understanding of corporate commercial law
- First rate relationship management skills and excellent coordination
