The primary role of the **Marketing Assistant **will be to support the Sales & Marketing Executive and Design Engineer with all the company’s marketing activities. This will be a varied role working across all aspects of the business creating brand awareness through to promoting events.

Key responsibilities for the **Marketing Assistant**:

- Assist with the production of marketing materials and literature, such as web content, brochures, and press releases
- Write and proofread marketing copy
- Upload material to the website(s), social media page
- Event planning with the ability to travel in support of exhibitions
- Regularly review social media impact and engagement through analytics
- Interface with customers and suppliers at a senior level
- Assist and aid in creating the monthly company Newsletter
- Providing administrative support to the Sales Team; including expenses, support with enquiries and proposals

Key Skills & Experience for the **Marketing Assistant**:

- Proficient with Microsoft (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and Adobe Suite (Adobe Illustrator, InDesign and Photoshop)
- Must be computer literate
- GCSE English Language as a minimum
- Demonstrates our company values of Teamwork, Integrity, Excellence and Courage
- Highly organised and methodical approach, with an eye for detail
- The ability to work independently when required
- A flexible, conscientious, and diligent attitude
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and written skills
- A resilient and adaptable approach

**Security Clearance Requirements**:
Due to the nature of our business, our staff need to be able to obtain UK Security Clearance as a mandated requirement. Therefore, if successful, you will need to provide proof of identity, employment history and right to work in the UK, along with proof of UK residency for at least five years.
