**An excellent opportunity for an Experienced Junior Quantity Surveyor / Project Manager to join a well-established company based in Birmingham.**

Working directly with the Managing Director and due to their continued success, an exciting new opportunity has arisen for a Junior Quantity Surveyor / Project Manager position.

**About the Role**:

- Estimate projects up to £2 million in value and attend all site meetings.
- Manage project budget costs and produce process reports.
- Play an integral role in the planning coordinating and delivering of projects to a successful conclusion.
- Raise new contracts on the software system and enter tender codes**.**:

- Survey potential projects, gain specifications and drawings.
- Send sub-contractor packages to nominated suppliers.
- Quote from drawings and present subsequent quotations to customers.
- Experienced in estimating and small works.
- Write up RAMS as required and have a good attitude to H&S.
- Management of sub-contractors on site daily, including assisting with recruitment and allocating duties.
- Attend all project meetings**.**:

- Meeting clients and discussing their requirements - dealing with variations to the contracted works.
- Assist MD to manage stage payments and monthly valuations.
- Knowledge and experience of the construction industry, with part commercial.
- Must be computer literate, excel and word - Eque2 or CM software experience desirable but not essential.
- The ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication skills and a team player, you should be self-motivated.
- Good and accurate measuring skills.
- Happy to be both office and site based.
- Full UK driving licence.

In return the company is offering a Competitive Starting Salary of £25,000+ Per Annum, Depending on Experience.
