Seven Resourcing are looking for Senior Care Assistants to fill day and night shifts in Rotherham, South Yorkshire.

**Pay Rates**:
**Weekday:£13.50 Per hour**
**Weekday Night: £14.00 Per hour**
**Saturday Day: £14.00 Per hour**
**Saturday Night: £14.55 Per hour**
**Sunday Day: £14.55 Per hour**
**Sunday Night: £14.55 Per hour**
**Bank Holiday Day: £19.81 Per hour**
**Bank Holiday Night: £20.00 Per hour**

**Key Responsibilities**:
**1. Personal Care and Support**:

- Assist seniors with their daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility.
- Provide support with eating, drinking, and medication management, ensuring adherence to prescribed routines and dosages.
- Offer assistance with exercises, mobility aids, and transferring techniques to maintain or improve mobility and independence.
- Monitor and record vital signs, health observations, and any changes in condition, promptly reporting concerns to the appropriate healthcare professionals.

**2. Care Planning and Coordination**:

- Collaborate with the care team to develop individualized care plans for each resident or client, considering their physical, emotional, and social needs.
- Implement care plans effectively, following established protocols, procedures, and guidelines.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of care provided, observations, and any relevant information to facilitate effective communication and continuity of care.

**3. Emotional Support and Companionship**:

- Foster positive relationships with seniors, providing emotional support, and engaging in friendly conversation to combat loneliness and enhance their well-being.
- Encourage participation in social activities, hobbies, and recreational programs to promote mental stimulation and social interaction among residents.

**4. Team Leadership and Support**:

- Act as a role model and provide guidance and support to other care assistants, fostering a collaborative and cohesive team environment.
- Assist in the orientation and training of new care staff, sharing knowledge and best practices.
- Participate in staff meetings, sharing feedback, ideas, and suggestions to improve care delivery and resident experiences.

**5. Health and Safety**:

- Adhere to strict health and safety guidelines, ensuring a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents and staff.
- Recognize and respond appropriately to emergency situations, following established protocols and procedures.
- Promote infection control measures and maintain hygiene standards in accordance with organizational policies.

**Applicant Requirements**:

- **Training**:Must have Medication Management or Handling of Medication training.
- **Experience**:1 + years Senior Care Assistant experience in the UK
- **Compliance**: Proof of ability to work and live in the UK. Current DBS and references.
