We are looking for a motivated person to join the Admin team at Portchester Crematorium.

Showing compassion and empathy in your approach to your work, you will help support the smooth running of the Crematorium’s services by undertaking a range of administrative duties including booking funeral services, accepting and receipting payments and dealing with customer queries on a daily basis. You will also liaise with Funeral Directors regarding detailed funeral arrangements and pass the cremated remains to the Funeral Directors and members of the public.

You will answer phone calls and deal with reception enquiries regarding a range of services provided by the Crematorium, so you must be able to communicate effectively, have a customer-oriented approach and exercise sensitivity and discretion to succeed in this role.

As an Admin Assistant, you will be required to use various ICT packages day-to-day, so you must be proficient in the use of ICT. This role requires effective time management and flexibility to respond to changing priorities without sacrificing attention to detail.

**About You**:
You will have the ability to work in a highly sensitive environment, with the highest level of dignity towards the deceased and their families. You'll have strong communication skills, both verbally and written and able to manage your time effectively and respond to changing priorities.
