**Learning Support Assistant JGW+**

Due to our continued business growth and the successful first year of the JGW+ contract, as we move into the second year of the contract, we are growing our team further, recruiting a hardworking, motivated, and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a youth tutor.

**Salary Banding**:£15,870

**Location**:Barry

**Contract type**:Part-time, permanent

**Working hours**:28 hours a week, Monday to Thursday, 9.00 a.m.4.30 p.m.

**What are the core responsibilities of this role?**
- Assist learners as required and appropriate to complete work assigned by tutors.
- Assist in the delivery of various learning programmes, ensuring that learners are engaged at all times.
- Engage and motivate the learners in the lessons, ensuring work is completed.
- Helping learners to learn as effectively as possible, both in group situations and individually.

**What skills and experience are we looking for in potential applicants?**
- Experience working with young people and being passionate about making a difference.
- Engaging and inspirational training and delivery style
- The ability to speak Welsh is desirable.
